BodyMetrix BX2K And What It Measures

Results are unaffected by hydration, meal timing, caffeine, or exercise — variables that significantly compromise bioimpedance analysis.

Does BodyMetrix require specialist training to operate?
No. BodyMetrix is operator-independent — any trained provider produces a consistent, defensible assessment regardless of who runs it. All subscribers have access to the BodyMetrix Support Center for onboarding guides, assessment references, and best practice content.
BodyMetrix currently operates on BodyView — PC and Mac compatible. The Provider tier uses BodyViewProFit. The Youth Sports Compliance tier uses BodyViewWR. Software and firmware updates are available for download on demand — updates are not automatic.
Yes. One 2oz ultrasound gel bottle is included with every BX2K as a starter supply. Ultrasound gel is required for every scan. Replenishment is available directly through BodyMetrix — one-time at $29.99 per 3pk or monthly subscription at $19.99 per 3pk with flexible quantity selection.
No. Using other mediums may cause damage to the device and void your warranty. Only BodyMetrix Ultrasound Gel is approved for use with BodyMetrix devices.
Warranty And Protection
The Enhanced Lifetime Warranty provides new device replacement coverage for the full device lifecycle — available exclusively to active subscribers. Coverage is tied directly to your active subscription. If your subscription lapses, coverage terminates immediately and permanently and does not reinstate. Keep your subscription active and renew before your renewal date.
If a renewal payment fails, BodyMetrix retries payment automatically for 10 days. After that a lapse is declared — your device remains active during a grace period but suspension follows if payment is not received. Enhanced Lifetime Warranty coverage terminates permanently after a lapse exceeding 100 days. Full lapse and reinstatement terms are governed by the BodyMetrix Master EULA.
Returns And Guarantees
Use the return link in your purchase confirmation email. Returns must be initiated within 30 days of activation. Items must be returned to their original condition with all original packaging and documentation.
Youth Sports Compliance (Wrestling)
Yes. BodyMetrix is currently recognized as a compliance standard by CIF and NJSIAA — and is currently positioned to receive NFHS national recommendation for high school sports across the United States.
The Youth Sports Compliance subscription is available to certified assessors, athletic directors, and program administrators operating under CIF, NJSIAA, or other state-recognized governing body compliance frameworks.
Eligibility is verified within 48 hours of purchase. Your subscription activates upon verification confirmation. If eligibility cannot be confirmed orders may be cancelled. To complete verification have your governing body affiliation, program name, and institution name ready at checkout.
