Ultrasound Gel is the conducting medium between the BodyMetrix BX2K device and the skin. Without it, the device cannot transmit sound pulses into the tissue, and the scan cannot be performed. It is not an optional accessory. It is required for every assessment.
Important Notice
Ultrasound gel is a required component — not an optional accessory. Every BodyMetrix scan requires direct gel contact between the probe and the skin to transmit the ultrasound signal accurately. Without it, assessments cannot be performed.
- Use only BodyMetrix Ultrasound Gel. Using other media (lotions, water, or third-party gels) may damage the probe and will void the device warranty.
- Keep an adequate supply on hand. Running out of gel interrupts assessments. A monthly replenishment subscription is available to prevent gaps in supply.
